Islamic Republic of Iran's Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi met in Baghdad with Iraqi President Jalal Talabani on Sunday, IRNA reported.
The two sides discussed bilateral ties, development of Iraq, as well as of Arab and Muslim countries.
Salehi and his accompanying delegation attended a dinner party in Baghdad.
Foreign Minister Salehi arrived in Baghdad from Qatari capital of Doha and he will meet with Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari.
