Iran warns Israel against striking Iranian nuclear facilities

Iran will destruct the Israeli nuclear facilities if any threat poses to the Iranian nuclear objects, Deputy Commander of Iran Armed Forces General Headquarters, Brigadier General Seyed Masoud Jazaeri said, Al-Alam channel's website reported on Thursday.
Iran will not sit idly and expect attacks, Jazaeri added commenting on the Israeli officials' recent statements about a possible military strike on Iran. .
He stressed that Iran possesses missiles, which are able to hit the Israeli Nuclear Research Center near the Dimona town.
The report issued by IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano on Tuesday provided indications that Iran has been developing nuclear arms, detailing a large number of nuclear-related projects and experiments, some of which might be ongoing.
The IAEA report came shortly after some Israeli media published reports saying Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak warned that a military strike on Iran was an option.
After the statements Israel successfully test-fired a missile capable of carrying a nuclear warhead and striking Iran.
