Presentation of smart "Basir" ammunition was held in Iran on Monday, IRINN TV channel reported.
Iranian Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi attended the presentation ceremony.
It is the first time when such a laser-guided ammunition is manufactured in Iran. This ammunition is capable of destroying bridges, tanks, millitary equipment, headquarters and moving targets.
Laser system of the ammunition finds target, as well as conducts targeting and ranging.
