Planning to export $300 million in hand-woven carpets to China, Iran has asked for a field study of the Asian giant's market, the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reports an official saying.
Thirteen Iranian carpet export companies participated at the Domotex fair in Shanghai to demonstrate the quality of Iran's carpets, the head of the National Carpet Center Mohammad Bagher Agha-Alikhani said.
Iran will continue its activities in new markets as it works to strengthen existing ones.
