Azerbaijan, Baku, April 11 / Trend S.Isayev, T. Jafarov/
The families of the engineers captured in Syria some time ago staged a protest near UN's building in Tehran, Fars reported.
Earlier, it was reported that Iran is co-operating closely with Qatar and Turkey to free the remaining Iranian engineers that are held in captivity in Syria.
Seven Iranian engineers have been kidnapped in Syria in December last year. Unidentified gunmen abducted five Iranian engineers on December 20 and two others on December 21 in the restive Syrian city of Homs.
The members of engineers' families were joined by the staff of "Mapna", "Parsian", and "Zagros" companies, places where the above mentioned seven engineers worked prior to kidnapping.
The protesters demanded for the engineers to be found and released as soon as possible.
