Iran will export some 350,000 livestock heads to the Persian Gulf Arab states by June 20, official at the agriculture ministry Amir Moftakhari-Kashani said.
Amir Moftakhari-Kashani told the Mehr News Agency that in the past calendar year, which ended on March 19, the country earned some $600,000 through exporting livestock heads.
He added that only male livestock are allowed to be exported. The Persian Gulf Arab states welcome importing livestock heads from Iran due to the fact that livestock is farmed using traditional methods, he noted.
