Iranian Shahid Tondgoyan chemical plant has unveiled new blocks, in presence of country's president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, ISNA reported.
Shahid Tondgoyan is an Iranian manufacturing plant engaged in production of Pure Terephatalic Acid (PTA) and Poly Ethylene Terephatalat (PET).
The opening of a gasoline manufacturing block at the plant was hosted. The block is said to be able to manufacture some 2.8 mln litres of gasoline daily.
Aside from gasoline manufacturing block, Iranian petrochemicals manufacturer unveiled a new block for desulfurization, and production of higher quality gasoline. The plant aims to produce EURO-5 standart gasoline.
Shahid Tondgoyan operates a total of 14 blocks now, four of which have just been unveiled.
