Deputy head of Iran's air defense headquarters in northwestern regions, Rasoul Rezvani Kia, said that 300 anti-aircraft warfare equipments were established in Iran's northwestern regions, Mehr news agency reported.
Rezvani Kia said that the equipment include "radars, missiles and electronic warfare".
"Given the sensitivity of Iran's northwestern region and presence of some foreign military bases in neighbors, Iran's all air defense forces work fulltime in northwestern regions and eyes movements at borders, also controls Asian-European flights," he said.
Rezvani Kia didn't explain the exact place and regions where the AAWs have been established.
Iranian air defense forces are getting ready to boost defense capability of the country's territory, while slogans of Israel's attack on Iranian nuclear facilities are getting louder.
