The enemies miserably failed with diplomatic war against the Islamic Republic, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said today, IRNA reported.
Khamenei made the remarks today, during his meeting with the members of the Assembly of Experts in Tehran.
Ayatollah noted the successful hosting of Non-Aligned Summit in Tehran was a good example of an intellectual system that Iran has offered to the world.
He added that currently situation is Iran is favorable.
"The NAM summit would have been hosted just like any other international convention," Khamenei said. "However, considering enemies's stupidity and political situation in the world, this summit became a phenomenon, and caused diplomatic war against Iran."
Iran has successfuly won this war, and its enemies were forced to admit this fact, Khamenei added.
Referring to the NAM Summit, Khamenei said that other countries' officials saw that people in Iran lead normal lives, and they also held talks regarding sanctions imposed on Iran and various business contracts as well.
