A number of Indian and Pakistani companies are the main buyers of liquefied petroleum gas from Iran, said an official with the National Iranian Oil Products Refining and Distribution Company.

Mohammad-Ali Dadvar told the Mehr news agency that Lavan Refinery's products are exported from the Persian Gulf terminals to the international markets.

On September 21, Dadvar told the IRNA news agency that the refinery will start producing one million liters of jet fuel per day by the next two months.

The gasoline production unit of the refinery will boost output by 1.3 million liters to 2.8 million liters by the end of autumn, he added.

The refinery's daily crude oil refining capacity is planned to be increased to 50,000 barrels per day from 30,000 barrels per day.

Officials have stated that Lavan refinery will increase its gasoline production from 1.4 million liters per day to 2.8 million liters and its natural gas production from 80 tons per day to 220 tons per day by the end of autumn.
