Presidents of Iran and Armenia, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Serzh Sargsyan held phone talks on Tuesday evening, IRNA reported.
Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan commending the recently held 11th meeting of Armenian-Iranian Intergovernmental Commission in Armenia, said that such meetings promote the deepening of bilateral relations in all spheres.
For his part, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that the joint meeting of the Armenian-Iranian Intergovernmental Commission is an indication that the two countries established a strong friendship, and that Yerevan and Tehran are determined to improve in terms of bilateral cooperation.
