The next administration's first priority is to improve living conditions for Iranians, former Defense Minister Akbar Torkan said on Tuesday.
Torkan was deputy head of president-elect Hassan Rohani's campaign headquarters, the Mehr News Agency reported.
Currently, some 3.5 million people are unemployed and most of them are graduates, Torkan said.
By decreasing unemployment to single digits, the living condition of most Iranians will improve.
Fixing FOREX rates is also another priority of the next government, he added.
Akbar Torkan was the minister of Defense and the minister of Roads and Transportation in the governments headed by President Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani.
He was also the Deputy Oil Minister of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's government.
