Some $7500 worth of nonstandard Chinese goods have been detained by Tehran Standards and Industrial Research Office in the capital's customs, head of Tehran's Standards and Industrial Research Office Moslem Bayat said, Moj news agency reported.

The detained goods including scales, video recorders and adaptors which have been imported during the last two months from China , the report said.

China was among the main exporters of goods to Iran during the first five months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-August 22).The country has exported $3.02 billion worth of goods to Iran in that period.

Exports of Iranian goods to China amounted to $2.540 billion in the five month period.

The two countries trade value surpassed $13.6 billion in 2012. Iran's exports accounted for $5.4 billion of that amount.

According to statistics released by Iran's Customs Administration, the two countries' trade value including the oil trade, is worth over $30 billion.
