By Rahim Zamanov - Trend: Head of the International Atomic Energy Agency Yukia Amano said that Iran and the IAEA will follow a roadmap for cooperation to remove outstanding issues regarding Iran's nuclear programme.

The two sides agreed on the roadmap at Monday's meeting in Tehran, the Fars News Agency reported.

Amano also called the agreement an important step forward and reiterated that the IAEA is committed to resolving issues regarding Iran' nuclear programme through cooperation and dialogue.

He made the remarks at a joint press conference with the Head of the Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran, Ali Akbar Salehi.

Salehi for his part said that based on the agreement reached with the International Atomic Energy Agency, Tehran will voluntarily allow the agency inspectors to visit the Arak Heavy Water facility and Gachin Mine.

The agreement is part of Iran's policy for more cooperation with the IAEA.
