Iran’s Fajr-e Jam gas refinery boosts output 40mcm per day

By Fatih Karimov - Trend: The Fajr-e Jam gas refinery in Iran has increased output 40 million cubic meters (mcm) per day, the Fars News Agency quoted the refinery's managing director Rahim Eslami as saying on Dec.23.

The refinery's output has increased to 125 million cubic meters thanks to the implementation of development plans, he noted.

The refinery's input is supplied from the phases 6-8 of the South Pars gas field, he added.

In September, Eslami said that the Fajr-e Jam gas refinery supplies 27 percent of country's needed gas.

The refinery is located in Iran's southern provinceof Bushehr.

The refinery has the capacity to produce 200 tons of LPG and 80 tons of condensates, Eslami added.
