Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marziyeh Afkham strongly criticized the US Secretary of Stateˈs Spokeswoman Jen Psakiˈs recent statements about the human rights conditions in Iran as blatant interference in the countryˈs internal affairs, IRNA reported.
Afkham said the US statements regarding the issue are politically motivated.
Her remarks came after Psaki claimed that Tehran has violated the human rights conditions.
The US has frequently been criticized by other countries for using human rights issues as political leverage against nations it considers as adversaries.
