Iran Standards and Quality Inspection Agency releases car quality report

TEHRAN, Iran, Oct. 19

The quality report for the sixth month of the current Iranian year (August 21-September 20) has been released with four cars reaching the fabled five-star quality rating by the Iran Standards and Quality Inspection Agency, Trend reports citing IRNA.

The Iranian Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Trade published its evaluation on domestically made vehicles in September.

Cars scoring a low three-star rating included Kara 2000 single-cab Pickup, Kara 2000 double-cab Pickup produced by Bahman Motor Company, and Saipa 151 of Saipa Group Company.

Several other local cars managed to get a three-star rating from ISQI including the Chery Tiggo 7 produced by Modiran Khodro Company.

Other cars scoring a low three-star rating included Kerman Khodro’s JAC S5 SUV, JAC J3.

Meanwhile, Bahman Motor Company's Dignity car scored a full five stars rating.

Additionally, in the heavy vehicle category, two Isuzu 85NMR and Isuzu NPR75K assembled by Bahman Diesel scored five stars rating.
