BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 29. Iran's Persian Gulf Gas Processing Company Bid-Boland will build a solar power plant with a power generation potential of 10 megawatts by the end of the current Iranian year (from March 20, 2024, through March 20, 2025), Trend reports.
According to the information, $6 million will be spent on the solar power plant, which will be built on an area of 15 hectares.
The solar power plant will be built for environmental protection.
Furthermore, Bid-Boland Gulf Gas Processing Company has started the construction of a wastewater filtration center for industrial and technical consumption in the Behbahan district of Khuzestan Province. Investments worth 10 trillion rials (about $238 million) will be made for this purpose.
To note, Iran's Bid-Boland Gulf Gas Processing Company's plant was commissioned in 2020. The plant can produce 10.4 million tons of methane, 1.5 million tons of ethane, 1 million tons of propane, 900,000 tons of sour gas, 600,000 tons of gas condensate, and 500,000 tons of butane.
