Iranian nation insists on peaceful N-rights: Iran President

(IRNA) - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here Friday that the Iranian nation calls for support for peaceful nuclear energy and insists on this right, reports Trend.

Ahmadinejad, on the second day of his three-day tour of the northwestern province of West Azarbaijan, made the remark while addressing residents of Chaldoran city.

"Enemies of Islamic Iran, which are against our scientific progress under pretext of production of nuclear weapons, are intended to put obstacle on the way of the country's progress and development.

"All know that a nation whose youth have conquered peaks of nuclear technology with empty hands and in a situation of complete economic sanction by relying on their vigilance and faith, can build the country speedily," he said.

He added, "Ill-wishers should know that the Iranian nation throughout Islamic Iran is determined to fully use nuclear fuel cycle."

President Ahmadinejad's current provincial visit is his 19th to various provinces of the country since the start of his initiative of bringing the government closer to the people.

He and members of his cabinet have already visited the provinces of South Khorasan, Sistan-Baluchestan, Ilam, Qom, Hormuzgan, Bushehr, Chahar Mahal and Bakhtiari, Lorestan, Golestan, Kohgilouyeh and Boyer Ahmad, Khorassan Razavi, Zanjan, Markazi, Qazvin, Hamedan, East Azarbaijan, North Khorassan, and Ardebil.
