(IRNA) - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad here on Wednesday evening lauded the Iranian success in accessing peaceful nuclear technology which he credited largely to the efforts and sacrifice of its young scientists, martyrs and combatants.

Addressing a gathering of martyrs' families in Mazandaran province, he said Tehran had achieved full success in the nuclear energy field and will no longer be bullied by any power, reports Trend.

He said the enemies had tried their best to prevent Iran from accessing peaceful nuclear technology over the past two years but had failed, citing the enemies' offensive in Lebanon, threats, economic sanctions and political pressure imposed on the Islamic Republic of Iran as examples of their futile efforts.

"When the enemies realized that economic sanctions and political pressure would not work on the Iranian nation, they began a war of nerves on the brave Iranian people," President Ahmadinejad pointed out.

Despite their tremendous efforts and conspiracies to block Iran from accessing nuclear technology, only one step remains before the nation will celebrate the climax of nuclear achievement, he said, adding that the nation will celebrate its nuclear victory in two months.

President Ahmadinejad, accompanied by members of his cabinet, arrived in Sari, capital of northern Mazandaran province, Tuesday morning for another of his visits to various provinces of the country.

His current provincial visit is his 22nd to various provinces of the country since the start of his initiative of bringing the government closer to the people.

He and his cabinet ministers will hold a session here this afternoon to discuss the province's problems and needs before they return to Tehran.
