(www.monilemag.com) вЂ" A new laptop these days that still runs on the now aged XP platform. Catering to the business-oriented end of the customer spectrum is the new Sony VAIO TX-5 series of laptops. They're lightweight, but they pack plenty of beef in a fairly compact package, reports Trend.

Barely tipping the scales at just 1.25kg, the ultraportable notebook boasts a battery life of up to 7 hours (thanks to the Intel Core ULV U1500 processor). No need to tether yourself to a wall outlet with this slick puppy. Goodies under the hood include Vista Business, 1GB RAM, biometric fingerprint reader, and "sensor-based hard disk drop protection." The 11.1-inch WXGA X-black LCD comes "illuminated by low power consumption LED technology."
