Iran, Yemen discuss latest developments in ties

( IRNA ) - Iran's Ambassador to Yemen Hossein Kamalian, discussed latest developments in Tehran-San'a relations as well as ways to bolster mutual ties in a meeting with Yemen's Deputy Foreign Minister Mohy al-Dhabbi.

Given the present circumstances in the region, Kamalian stressed on the necessity of beefing up efforts to establish and strengthen constructive ties among Islamic states.

He also laid emphasis on the two countries' determination to expand all-out ties, prevent disagreements and conduct negotiations to settle problems as Iran gives priority to promote relations with the Islamic countries.

Al-Dhabbi said, for his part, referred to the long history of Iran-Yemen ties and stressed on holding bilateral talks to reinforce constructive relations between the tow capitals.

He voiced Yemen's willingness to boost ties with Iran and expressed hope that mutual relations would be further boosted in the future.
