Iran Materials 26 May 2007 11:06 (UTC +04:00)

( IRNA ) - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here Friday that no resolution or threat can make Iranian nation give up its rights.

"Today the Iranian nation is in possession of nuclear fuel cycle and it would not compromise its rights in the face of any resolution, threat or pressure," said Ahmadinejad in an address to the people in provincial city of Kouhrang.

Criticizing the "world ignorant" for their discriminatory approach towards Iran's nuclear issue, Ahmadinejad said, "Those having no faith in God, want everything on earth for themselves, deny others' rights and try to impede other nations' technological and scientific progress."

He said the "world ignorant" are responsible for the entire problems of mankind, including wars and injustice, throughout history.

"The world ignorant have turned a blind eye and a deaf ear to divine injunctions and are living in darkness. Those who are not ready to follow the divine traditions are accountable for the sufferings of mankind in the four corners of the world today, including in Iraq, in Afghanistan and in Lebanon."
