By Fatih Karimov - Trend:
Iran unveiled eight new domestically-produced medicines on the occasion of the National Day of Veterinary on October 6.
"Seven pharmaceutical items and a foot-and-mouth disease vaccine were unveiled," Iran's IRNA news agency reported on October 7.
Rasoul Dinarvand, the director of Iranian Food and Drug Administration, said in August that Iran enjoys a favorable status in terms of producing much-needed medications and would take any measures to support producers accordingly.
He said in the current year "we experienced a logical stability in terms of medications supply, and despite a 30-percent decrease in import, people did not feel any shortage of drugs."
