By Fatih Karimov - Trend:

Iran's Parsian refinery injected over 16 billion cubic meters of refined gas to the national network in the first eight months of the current year.

The current Iranian calendar year began on March 21.

The refinery is located at the southern province of Fars.

Parsian Gas Refining Company's Managing Director Farshid Ebdali said the refinery is the third largest refinery in the country with an annual output of 24 billion cubic meters, accounting for 12.8 percent of the country's total gas output, Iran's Shana news agency reported on Dec. 3.

The company has also produced 6.5 million barrels of gas condensates in the 8-month period, he noted.

The condensates are stored in four depots each with a capacity of 18,000 cubic meters and will be transferred to Assalouyeh through a 10-inch pipeline for export, he said.

Parsian can produce 82 million cubic meters of gas. It supplies gas to the provinces of Fars, Yazd, Isfahan and parts of Tehran.
