Iran has exported 903 sedan cars to Azerbaijan during the first nine months of the current Iranian fiscal year (March 21 to Dec. 22, 2014).
The figure indicates a fall by 27 percent in comparison with 1147 sedan cars the country exported to Azerbaijan during the same period of last fiscal year, said Iran's Customs Administration.
The total value of the exported cars amounted to $6.194 million in that period, 37.6 percent less year on year.
Around 48.712 metric tons of spare car parts including radiators and clutches worth $ 458,950 were also exported to Azerbaijan in the 9-month period.
Iran exported $135.465 million worth of sedans and car spare parts in total during the first nine months of current fiscal year (Iran's fiscal year starts on March 21).
Tehran's sedan car production stood at 700,826 during the period, indicating an increase by 64.3 percent year on year.
Trade turnover between Iran and Azerbaijan has surpassed $362.106 million during the 9-month period, 9 percent less compared to the same months of the preceding year.
The Islamic Republic exported $347.171 million worth of goods to Azerbaijan during the period (March 21 - Dec. 22, 2014), which indicates a fall by 7.88 percent compared to the same months of the previous year.
