The United States exported 4407 metric tons of goods, worth $14.1 million to Iran in Iranian 3rd calendar month of Khordad (May 22-June 21), the Islamic Republic's Customs Administration said in its latest monthly report released June 30.
The US exports to Iran indicates an increase by 53.3 percent in terms of value and 156.6 percent in terms of volume compared to the same period of last year.
Tehran's imports from Washington stood at $30.7 million during the first quarter of current Iranian fiscal year (March 21, June 21), 51.9 percent more year on year.
Iran imported 9194 metric tons of goods from the US in the period, indicating a rise by 184.9 percent in comparison with the same months of preceding year.
Imports from the US shared 0.3 percent of Iran's overall imports in the 3-month period.
Iran's imports from the United States accounted for $154.12 million during the last Iranian fiscal year (ended on March 20), 16.4 percent more year on year.
No information about Iran's possible exports to the US is published in the report.
The Islamic Republic's non-oil exports (including condensates) stood at $10.867 billion during first three months of current Iranian fiscal year (March 21-June 21), while imports accounted for $10.35 billion.
