By Khalid Kazimov -- Trend:

CEO of Roth, Group Oil International Rudi Roth has said his company is willing to resume the purchase of crude oil from Iran.

"We hope that after sanctions are lifted the ground will be paved for restarting oil purchase from Iran," he said, SHANA news agency reported September 13.

He added his company can help Iran sell crude in European market.

"We are highly optimistic about our future relations with Iran and hope that the comprehensive nuclear deal between Tehran and the group P5+1 (the US, UK, France, Russia, China, and Germany) will enable us resume our bright past cooperation with Iran," Roth stated.

He pointed out his company can offer expertise in building small biodiesel refineries.

Biodiesel, made from plant oils and other renewable material, has met great favor in Europe since it lacks sulfur and phosphate and is a very environment-friendly product.

Roth was one of the companies that accompanied Austrian President Heinz Fischer to Tehran to seek new economic opportunities.
