President Hassan Rouhani felicitated observer statute of Azerbaijan Republic in Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), IRNA reported.
The 3rd summit meeting of GECF kicked off here on Monday in presence of nine heads of states under chairmanship of President Rouhani.
Rouhani in his speech felicitated Azerbaijan Republic as 19th member of the forum.
Russian President Vladimir Putin, Turkmen president Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro, Nigerian President Muhammad Buhari, President of Iraq Fuad Masoum , Bolivian president Evo Morales, president of Equatorial Guinea Teodoro Obiang Mbasogo and Algerian Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal were participating the forum.
Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Natig Aliyev, Secretary General of OPEC Salem el-Badri and Secretary General of International Energy Forum (IEF) Aldo Flores Quiroga were attending the forum.
