The total amount of products loaded and unloaded at Iranian ports, has increased by eight percent over the past five months compared to the same period of time last year.
Between January 1and June 1, 114.09 million tons of oil and non-oil products were loaded and unloaded at about 28 ports across the country, statistics by the country's Ports and Maritime Organization showed.
The statistics also suggest that the volume of the non-oil products (loaded and unloaded) has decreased by 10 percent while the figure for oil products has hiked by 24 percent.
In the mentioned period 86.26 million tons of oil and non-oil products were loaded at the country's ports.
The figure for loading oil products in the mentioned period is 60.6 million tons.
According to the statistics, 10.64 million tons of oil products have been unloaded in the mentioned period. Iran also unloaded 17.17 million tons of non-oil products at its ports over the past month.
