Iran attends OEEC event for the first time

For the first time, Iran will attend the Offshore Energy Exhibition and Conference (OEEC) which is scheduled for Oct. 25-26 in Amsterdam, Netherlands, SHANA news agency reported June 6.

The Iranian companies will have their own special pavilion to present themselves in the OEEC 2016, the Dutch CBC Oil and Gas Company office in Tehran has announced.

A technical session also will be held on the sidelines of the event to introduce the offshore projects in Persian Gulf and Caspian Sea to the European investors.

Offshore Energy is an annual event focused on the complete offshore energy industry. It covers both the exploration and production of the conventional energy resources oil and gas as well as the expanding renewable part of the energy mix such as offshore wind and marine renewable energy.

The ninth edition of the OEEC is expected to attract 11,500 offshore professionals and more than 650 exhibiting companies.
