Iran, Turkey sign MoU on cooperation

Iran Chamber of Cooperatives and the Turkish association of independent entrepreneurs (MUSIAD) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation in Turkey’s Istanbul.

The MoU was signed on the sidelines of Musiad International Fair in Turkey, Mehr news agency reported.

Speaking at a ceremony for inking the MoU, MUSIAD President Nail Olpak said that Ankara plans to implement all existing agreements with Iran on trade and economic spheres.

Over 100,000 industrial and trade unites are members of MUSIAD accounting for more than 20 percent of Turkey’s GDP.
Iran and Turkey are planning to increase their volume of trade turnover to $30 billion.

Trade turnover between Iran and Turkey stood at $5.4 billion during the first seven months of 2016.
