Shortly after Hermes showed the green light for investment in Iran, the German-based Linde has stated readiness to invest in Iran’s biggest petrochemical project, Mehr news agency reported Nov. 19.
Linde recently signed a contract with Iran on delivering technological know-how and engineering service to Kian Petrochemical Co.
Also, Iran is in talks with German banks over an LC of 3 billion euros for new petrochemical projects.
In late October, Iran signed initial agreements with Germany’s Hermes insurance firm to provide cover for transactions with Europe.
