Eight Czech companies prepared to co-op with Iran

Eight Czech companies have expressed readiness to start industrial cooperation with Iran, head of the joint Czech-Slovak Chamber of Commerce Yan Cowan told Mehr news agency February 1.

Speaking in a meeting in Prague with the visiting Tehran Chamber of Commerce chief Masoud Khansari, Cowan said the companies work in energy, environment, petrochemicals, machines, glass, and health fields.

Iran and Czech Republic’s latest meeting on development of economic cooperation was held in June in Prague.

Iranian envoy to Prague Ali Akbar Jokar, Czech Deputy Economy Minister Martin Tapla and chamber of commerce and bank managers were present at the meeting.
