Iran is preparing 50 million bus seats for travelers during the Novruz holidays, the Islamic Republic's transport minister Abbas Akhondi said, IRIB news agency reported March 18.
According to the minister, 3.750 million airplane seats, 1.7 million railway seats, and 9 million ship seats are also being prepared for holiday travels.
The Iranian New Year will begin March 21. The Novruz holiday celebration in Iran began March 15 and will end April 2.
