Turkey’s gas imports from Iran increased by 9.24 percent to 749.61 million cubic meters (mcm) in February 2017, according to the latest statistics of Turkey’s Energy Market Regulatory (EMRA).
Iran shared 14.27 percent of Turkey’s total gas imports in February, which stood at 5.252 billion cubic meters(bcm), or 32.51 percent more compared to February 2016.
Iran exported 7.703 bcm of gas to Turkey in 2016, or 23 mcm less than 2015.
