Norwegian DNO submits survey results of Iran’s oil field

The Norwegian oil and gas operator DNO submitted the results of study over Iran’s Changouleh oilfield to the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC).

During a meeting between Jeroen Regtien deputy CEO of DNO and deputy head of NIOC for Engineering and Development Affairs Gholamreza Manouchehri the Norwegian company submitted the survey results, Shana reported Aug.12.

DNO signed a memarondum of understanding with Iran to study the field.

Alongside DNO, Russian Gazprom Neft has been also studying Changouleh field.

The green field contains 2.367 billion oil reserves in-situ with API degree of 24.

Iran has introduced 49 upstream oil and gas projects for foreign companies with worth $100 billion, to take part in, based on newly designed contract model, called Iran Petroleum Contract, or IPC.
