Performance of Iran’s gold & currency markets on Oct. 24

Gold coin was traded at 13,123,270 rials (about $326.9 according to the currency rate in free market) on Monday in Iranian market, indicating a 0.99 percent rise compared to Monday.

According to data on the website of the Tehran Gold and Jewelry Union, one gram of the 18-karat gold was priced at 1,227,280 rials (about $30.57), 0.08 percent more compared to the preceding day.

According to the country’s real-time data sharing system, SANA, euro valued 47,488 rials in the free market dropping 57 rials compared to the preceding day. The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) put the official rate of euro at 40,428 rials.

The US dollar gained 127 rials to post 40,135 rials in the free market. The CBI put the official rate for the greenback at 34,363 rials.
