Performance of Iran’s gold & currency markets on Nov. 7

Gold coin was traded at 13,430,000 rials (about $330.2 according to the currency rate in Iran's free market) on Tuesday.

According to data on the website of the Tehran Gold and Jewelry Union, one gram of the 18-karat gold was priced at 1,242,050 rials (about $30.58), indicating an increase of 0.43 percent compared to the preceding day.

According to the country’s real-time data sharing system, SANA, euro valued 47,544 rials in the free market, losing 0.18 percent. The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) put the official rate of euro at 40,736 rials.

The US dollar did not demonstrate a considerable change compared to the preceding day and stood at 40,610 rials in the free market. The CBI put the official rate for the greenback at 35,099 rials.
