Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) said on its official website that various metals including 11,000 tons of iron bar as well as 23,122 tons of basket rebar and iron bar manufactured by Esfahan Steel Company are offered in the industrial and minerals trading sector of the IME on Nov. 14.
Over 37,477 tons of bitumen, lube cut and polymers were also offered at the oil and petrochemical trading sector of the IME.
In the agricultural sector, 100 tons of soybean oil, 253,000 day-old chickens and 15,000 tons of wheat were offered.
Meanwhile, 4,950 tons of bitumen, insulation and lube cut were offered on the IME export ring.
Furthermore, 100 tons of palm oil imported from Malaysia offered in the IME’s side market on Nov. 14.
On Nov. 13, the IME sold 620 tons of copper wire and 1640 tons of copper cathode as well as 30,000 tons of SM type slab steel and 5 kilograms of gold bullion.
Also 3,144 tons of bitumen, 13,111 tons of polymeric products and 460 tons of slack wax as well as 8,000 tons of lube cut and 42 tons of chemicals were traded on IME’s oil and petrochemical trading floor.
On the other hand, IME was the platform to sell 1,500 tons of bitumen and 340 tons of isolation on its export ring. And finally, IME traded 2,750 tons of wheat and 30,000 day-old chickens at agricultural trading floor.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
