The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) for Nov. 25 offers the following products and goods:
Export floor: Offers 31,700 tons of rice from Uruguay and 50,000 tons of durum wheat from Iran’s Khuzestan Province.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 25,212 tons of various polymers, chemical products, and vacuum bottom.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 20 tons of aluminium alloy ingot from IRALCO company.
Agriculture floor: Offers 70,000 day-old chickens, 11,500 tons of wheat, 100 tons of sunflower raw oil, 34 tons of frozen chick, and 967 tons of maize.
Meanwhile, the side market of IME will witness offering of 100 tons of palm oil imported from Malaysia, 1,000 tons of frozen meat, 38 tons of methylene diphenyl diisocyanate, and 16 tons of aniline.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
