The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Feb. 18:
Export floor: Offers 48,650 tons of bitumen, insulation and sulphur.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 29,026 tons of chemicals, polymers, bitumen and vacuum bottom feed stock.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 20,000 tons of steel slabs type SM, 220 tons of rebar, 1,320 tons of wire copper, 3,000 tons of cathode copper, 30,000 tons of low-grade copper, 12 tons of precious metal concentrates, 190 tons of sulphur molybdenum, 2,000 tons of 1000 lb aluminum ingots and 500 tons of aluminum billets as well as 20 tons of aluminium alloy ingots.
Agriculture floor: Offers 261,000 day-old chicks, 12,800 tons of wheat, 5,350 tons of sugar, 500 tons of crude vegetable oil, 170 tons of large lentil, 50 tons of rice(Hashemi sort) and 2,317 tons of maize within the framework of supportive price plan.
Furthermore, the side market of IME offers 633 tons of metal scraps, 220 tons of frozen meat and 30 tons of polyester yarn.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
