The main index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) added 242.33 points or 0.25 percent to end the trades at 95819.6 on March 18.
According to the TSE official website, about 940 million shares, valued at $ 52.5 million (2.5 trillion rials converted to US dollar according to free market rates) were traded for the day.
The Price Index gained 76.88 points or 0.25 percent, to post 30400.7.
The First Market grew 211.78 points or 0.31 percent, to post 67670.1.
The Second Market added 310.08 points or 0.15 percent, to post 206111.1.
The Industry Index was up 130.06 points or 0.15 percent, to post 85684.7.
TSE 30 Index grew 5.86 points or 0.14 percent, to close at 4266.2.
TSE 50 Index gained 4.72 points or 0.12 percent, to end at 4019.8.
