The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for May 12:
Export floor: Offers 35,570 tons of bitumen and 8 tons of saffron.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 154,614 tons of chemicals, polymers, bitumen and vacuum bottom as well as lube cut oil, sulphur and slaps wax.
Agriculture floor: Offers 290,000 day-old chickens, 3,500 tons of sugar, 10,000 tons of wheat, and 1,500 tons of crude vegetable oil, as well as 300 tons of barley, and 1,000 tons of date.
Furthermore, the side market of IME offers 1,000 tons of palm oil.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
