Russian corn fodder to be offered at Iran’s Mercantile Exchange

Iran’s Mercantile Exchange (IME) will trade corn fodder supplied by JDS Trading Co., Tehran-based company.

JDS Trading Co imports raw materials including livestock and poultry feeds from various countries including Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Brazil into Iran.

The IME said in a statement that it has agreed to host offering of over 10,000 tons of corn fodder in its main trading market.

The corn fodder produced in Russia will be offered by JaameJam Bazargan Pishro Co.‎, the statement reads.

The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets. There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
