The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for August 28:
Export floor: offers 4,000 tons of sulphur.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 54,379 tons of various polymers.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 34,900 tons of rebar basket, 25,000 tons of iron beam, 110 tons of sulphur molybdenum, 3,000 tons of 1000 lb aluminum ingots, 140,000 tons of slab type C and 14 kilograms of gold bullion.
Agriculture floor: Offers 18,600 tons of wheat, 350 tons of sugar and 2,500 tons of saffron.
Furthermore, the side market of IME offers 200 tons of frozen meat and 40 tons of polyester grids.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
