Tehran Stock Exchange performance on Sept. 1‎

The main index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) decreased by 1362.67 points (-0.99 ‎‎percent) to end the trades at 136,109.7 on Sept. 1.

According to the TSE official website, about 2,998 million shares valued at $141 million were traded for the day.

The trading value registered a fall by 20 percent, while the volume decreased by 39.5 percent compared to the preceding day.

The Price Index (TEPIX) decreased by 398.49 points (-0.99 ‎‎‎percent) to post 39,812.3.

The First Market Price and Dividend Index TEDPIX (FM) decreased by 1,258 points (-1.24 ‎‎‎‎‎percent) to 100,033.

The Second Market Price and Dividend Index TEDPIX (SM) increased by 1,490.57 points‎ (-0.54 ‎‎‎percent) to post 272,235.4.

The Industry Index decreased by 1,561.94 points (-1.24 ‎‎percent) to post 124,234.1.

TSE 30 Index lost 118.31 points (-1.76 ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎percent) to close at 6,612.2.

TSE 50 Index lost 88.16 points (-1.48 ‎‎‎‎‎percent) to end at 5,882.9.

Mobarakeh Steel Company, National Iranian Copper Industries Company, Persian Gulf Petrochemical Company, Khouzestan Steel Company, Pars Petrochemical Company and Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company had the biggest negative impact on the TSE index.

Meanwhile, Bank Mellat, Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL Group), Jam Petrochemical Company, Bank Tejarat, Qayen Cement Company and Bank Parsian were among those that had the highest positive effect on the TSE index.
