Iran creates joint committee for strengthening export to 15 countries

In collaboration with Foreign Ministry, Customs Administration, Law Enforcement Force, Ministry of Intelligence and Security and near-border regions, Iran established a committee for strengthening export to 15 countries,” Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli, Iran’s Interior Minister said, IRNA reported.

He made the remarks talking to reporters on the sidelines of the meeting with officials of executive agencies of governors of the near-border regions of Iran.

Fazli said the committee will try to eliminate the impediments facing the trade exchange.

"The laws and regulations associated with export should be simplified and the obstacles facing the opportunities should be eliminated," he said.

Iran’s interior minister added that the strengthening of exports, prevention of illegal export of foreign currency and products out of Iran, and return of foreign currency to the country as a result of the exports, were the principles being in the spotlight during the joint meeting,

He added t hat significant agreements were reached between the agencies and the necessity of full implementation of the mentioned principles was underlined.

“The results of this meeting have manifested themselves in strengthening of exports, adjustment of schemes of return to the country of foreign currency as a result of exports and implementation of serious struggle against smuggling of products in the near-border regions,” the minister stressed.
