Iran’s oil customers, especially, China, India, Turkey and even European countries intend to continue crude imports from Iran, an Iranian energy expert Hamid Hoseini said.

Some developments are underway on the oil market, ISNA news agency quoted him as saying.

Hoseini pointed out that the US has also mitigated its position. “However, it is impossible to make predictions about what will happen before the Nov.4 sanctions take effect.”

The energy expert noted that every day the market sees a number of changes; some of them benefit Iran, while others harm the country. “It is impossible to predict what will happen at the end and how much oil the customers will buy from Iran.”

He noted that China has been purchasing 1 million barrels of oil from the US. But it has stopped oil imports from the US, said the expert.

“All these factors show that Iran will stay in the oil market and the oil prices will rise,” said Hoseini.
