Iran's Khangiran gas processing plant complies with all environmental standards, said Director General of Razavi Khorasan Province Environment Department Turazh Himmathi during his visit to Khangiran gas processing plant.
The steps taken by the Ministry of Petroleum in the area of health, safety and environmental protection had a positive impact on the Khangiran plant, SHANA news agency quoted him as saying.
Himmathi said that the implementation of the project to reduce gas emissions is a positive step. This is a new step that minimizes burning of flare gas in the gas industry.
"The implementation of the project to reduce the burning of flare gases solved 90 percent of problems with this issue," he concluded.
